Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
gosh, the animation in this really did become so robotic and lifeless
That’s what happens when everything becomes flash animated.
It’s also why I’m super proud of the cartoons on The Aquabats Super Show. They really show how to take flash animation and make it look almost traditional.
animation quality goes down because it’s done in flash
Point in case: Superjail
It’s the animators, not flash.wait
wait
Super Jail is done in flash???
Wowzers, new found respect for Superjail!
So many people don’t give Flash proper credit.
Let’s just count some of the well animated cartoons in flash.
SuperJail, China IL, Foster’s Home for Imaginary Friends, The X’s, El Tigre, MLP, Dan Vs., Motorcity, Metalocolypse, and Bob’s Burgers.
Yeah, as said before, it’s the animators, not the tools.
Here’s the thing, people started saying “It’s done in flash” when the flood of Canadian shovelware started spilling over the border and the god awful use of “Tweening” was the primary source of animation in all of them.
Tweening is the EXTREMELY cheap and ugly way to animate things, alot like paper puppets but without any of the charm, and tweening is famously done in programs like Flash. Over on Newgrounds, a site used by flash animators, if anyone was caught using this cheap form of animation in any serious manner, they were they were fucking LYNCHED.
SO naturally when tweening was being used “Professionally” for almost 75% of the programming on Nick and CN, everyone got kinda upset about it.
Flash is just a program, it’s just an upgrade. Like going to Email from writing letters.
The overall moral here is fuck Canada.
marge looks like a robot and its freaking me out
I think they just mean Puppet Rigging Style Animation. I’d post MLP on here, but…meh~
Bitch please, im really satisfied by his improvements the detailing look so much better now :D
The animation in the Simpsons really did become so robotic and lifeless
